Intro to the world of security.
The world of security covers many areas, from doormen to guards, from night watchmen to close protective agents, etc.
Having worked many years in shop retail security and then as a door supervisor, I find that the lack of security knowledge for new people wishing to look into security as a job or career, to be some what hard to find.
My aim is to put together this security site, based on my own or fellow security friends experience, so that any one wanting to find info on security will find this website an invaluable resource of information.
Just because I passed the security course I am always up for learning more, and work with the best team I could find, and luckily for me the last year 2007 and this year 2008 has been a positive one for me.
I have been given advice that has revolutonised my own awareness of security in the UK, and quite often I find these tips come into mind when I find myself in a situation and having to deal with it.
I shall try to cover as many areas of security as possible, and where unable to I will find a resource and point to it, be it a website or document.
From time to time I train or debate with other members of our security team, and I suspect that for years to come I will be broadening my own knowledge awareness even further when it comes to security.
And at times I get to help out the younger members, and am in a good position to watch them grow, there is much to be said about being a member of a great security team.
